ATF Called In To Help Investigate TSAS Fire

The Tulsa Fire Department will be getting federal assistance in its investigation of this morning’s blaze at the Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. KWGS News has learned the Tulsa Fire Department will be getting aid from the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

The ATF has activated its National Response Team to aid the Tulsa Fire Marshal’s Office. The NRT is comprised of a team of fire and explosive experts that specialize in large scale fire scene investigations.

The explosion and fire at the school this morning sent eight Tulsa Fire Fighters to the hospital. All were in fair condition. Most have now been treated and released.
