Arrests in Papa John Homicide

KWGS News

Three teenagers are in custody in connection with a fatal weekend shooting in mid-town Tulsa. A Texas delivery man was shot and killed Saturday morning. It happened  outside of  Papa John's Pizza on the corner of 11th and Delaware.

Tulsa Police lead homicide detective Dave Walker says officers made the arrest after a weekend of work on the case. During the weekend, police were able to get a good description of the car used in the shooting. That vehicle was stopped around 1AM this morning. Walker says the traffic stop was made near 41st and South Harvard. That is about 3 1/2 miles away from the homicide scene.

The motive for the shooting is not being released. It will be up to the District Attorney to file charges.  The delivery man has been identified as 53-year-old Robert Horton of Arlington,Texas.
