Another Veto

By KWGS News

Tulsa, OK – Mayor Bartlett uses his veto pen, again. The latest measure from the City Council to get the Mayor's veto is a resolution that would strip the Trash Board of its authority to contract with vendors on behalf of the city. The Council approved the measure two weeks ago.

At issue is the city's trash service. A new contract must be in place by the end of next June. Many on the council don't want to see changes in the current operation.
