Oklahoma City, OK – Small quake reported in Oklahoma County

LUTHER, Okla. (AP) An earthquake has rattled an area of eastern Oklahoma County that has been prone to temblors recently.

The U.S. Geological Survey says an 3.1-magnitude quake struck around 10:22 a.m. Saturday about 20 miles east-northeast of Oklahoma City.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Small earthquakes have been reported in the area for months, including several that struck earlier this past week.

Researchers say quakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are typically the smallest felt by humans.
