Continuing its mission to offer a high quality music and cultural Festival for Oklahoma audiences, OK Mozart celebrated its 30th anniversary year this past June.

In this eleventh and final program of the broadcast series created to showcase concerts from both the Festival’s 2013 and 14 seasons, we’ll hear a concert offered on Wednesday, June 12th of 2013 at the Bartlesville Community Center, a program reflecting a pervasive American Spirit and featuring the Amici New York Orchestra and artistic director Constantine Kitsopolous in Spider Brings Fire by Jerod Ipmichaachaaha' Tate, The Red Violin: Chaconne for Violin and Orchestra of John Corigliano featuring Amici New York concertmaster Erica Kiesewetter as soloist and the Symphony No. 9 in e minor, Op 95 "From the New World" of Antonin Dvorak.

Performance Oklahoma is heard each week on Saturday evening at 8pm on Classical 88.7-1!
