Tulsa, OK – More Police officers will be on the Tulsa Streets soon.
The city is moving up its academy class from April of next year to December of this year. Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan says this will help address the department's attrition issue.
Each academy class costs about 400-thousand dollars. If the city revenue picture continues to improve another class this fiscal year could be added.
