A grinding crash on Interstate-44 sends seven people to the hospital. It happened late on Friday on the Will Rogers Turnpike near the Vinita exit.
The Oklahoma Highway patrol says the vehicles were in the west bound lanes of the pike. The roadway had to be closed while crews attended to the injured and cleared away the wreckage. The crash involved two tractor trailer rigs and two passenger cars.
It took two medical helicopters and three ambulances to get the injured to hospitals. The roadway has since reopened.
