4 Injured in Garvin County Pipeline Fire

Wikipedia

LINDSAY, Okla. (AP) — A natural gas company spokeswoman says four workers were injured in a fire while performing maintenance on a natural gas pipeline in Garvin County.

DCP Midstream spokeswoman Roz Elliott told the Oklahoman  all four workers were taken to a Lindsay hospital and have been released.

Elliott says the natural gas line fire did not cause an explosion and was quickly extinguished after it started Thursday afternoon. She says the maintenance crew was working near Lindsay at the time of the fire.

Elliott says DCP reported the incident to the proper regulatory authorities and will investigate further on its own to determine what happened.
