3 Hurt When Grand Lake Boats Collide

GRDA

Three people are air-lifted to a Tulsa hospital after two boats collided today on Oklahoma's Grand Lake of the Cherokees.

Justin Alberty, with the Grand River Dam Authority,  tells KWGS News  the boaters were taking part in a Bass Tournament on the lake near Ketchum. The boats were in the 'Check-In Bay' area when they collided  about lunch time today.

The injured were taken by helicopter to St Francis hospital in Tulsa with leg and trunk injuries. Alberty says an investigation into the crash will be conducted by the GRDA Police
