THACKERVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say two people were killed after an SUV crashed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 35 in southern Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the wreck happened late Monday at the 9 mile marker on I-35 in Love County. According to a preliminary report, the SUV was speeding and driving recklessly when it crashed into the rear portion of the tractor-trailer.
The highway patrol says the driver of the SUV was killed in the wreck, along with a passenger. Their names have not yet been released. Another passenger in the SUV was injured and taken to a hospital in Denton, Texas, where she was treated for arm injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer wasn't hurt.
