2 Found Dead at Home in Bartlesville, Man arrested

Bartlesville Police

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say two people were killed and a 15-year-old girl was injured at a home in Bartlesville.

Police Capt. Jay Hastings says officers responding to a disturbance call late Wednesday discovered a man dead in the front yard of the home. An adult woman was also found inside the home suffering from apparent stab wounds, while a 15-year-old was injured but able to escape the home and call 911.

Hastings says the adult woman was pronounced dead at a Bartlesville hospital, while the teenager was airlifted to a hospital in Tulsa.

Authorities say officers discovered an adult man in the backyard of the home and arrested him in connection with the slayings. Hastings says that man lived in the home with the three victims.

No names have been released.
