2 dead, 1 injured after shootout outside Tulsa bar

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say one man is dead and two others are wounded following a shootout outside a Tulsa nightclub.

Captain Cathy Reynolds says police received a call early Saturday about a shooting victim being treated at Hillcrest Medical Center. The Tulsa World reports the victim, a 21-year-old man whose name has not been released by police, was later pronounced dead. He is the city's 52nd homicide of 2013.

Police say two other shooting victims, both 23-year-old males, are in critical condition. One later died becoming the city's 53rd homicide of the year.

Reynolds says officers went to the bar and found a large number of shell casings. Witnesses reported there had been a shootout.

Reynolds says a 20-year-old woman who hid inside the bar during the shooting, then fled on foot, was struck by a vehicle and suffered broken bones.
