Google Street View

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal stabbing at a back-to-school party. It happened in the 11400 of East 38th Street. That is just east of 38th and Garnett.

Tulsa police spokesman Craig Johnson says Austin Nation was booked into the Tulsa County jail Monday morning on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Police received a call Sunday night that a 20-year-old man had been stabbed at an east Tulsa home. Police say Nation stabbed the man several times in the chest during a fight.

Johnson says the man was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

He says Nation originally left the scene but returned and turned himself in.

Johnson says police won't name the victim until his family has been notified.

Online jail records didn't indicate an attorney.
