1 Year Later, Oklahoma State to Revise Travel Rule

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State University is close to proposing an update to its travel policies a year after a plane crash claimed the lives of two women's basketball coaches and two others.

Head coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna died in the crash in Arkansas on November 17th, 2011. The crash also killed former state Senator Olin Branstetter and his wife, Paula.

The Oklahoman reports that the updated travel policy is to be considered by the school's Board of Regents on November 30th.

A task force was named after the crash to review travel rules and a spokesman says the group met seven times to consider proposed changes.
