1 Dead, 1 Hurt in Muskogee Mobile Park Shooting

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a 22-year-old woman has died after a double shooting at a Muskogee mobile home park.

Muskogee County sheriff's investigator Faye Banks says April Christine Perry died at a Tulsa hospital after Friday's shooting. Authorities say Perry and her husband, Darrell Perry, were shot Friday afternoon at their mobile home.

Authorities say Darrell Perry called 911 to report the shooting. Banks says Darrell Perry is recovering from his injuries.

The Muskogee Phoenix reports that the couple's car was found Friday after the shooting, and authorities recovered a handgun from the vehicle. The sheriff's office has not announced any arrests in the case, which remains under investigation.
