One of three co-hosts of Business World, Louis Coleman has been with the show and KWGS since 1999. In Louis’ day job, he serves as Director of Sales and Marketing for Autoquip Corporation. He brings a variety of business, sales, and marketing, real world experience to the program. His career has covered petroleum drilling equipment, the computer industry, electronic fishing equipment, State Government, and now material handling lift equipment. Most of his career has been spent in international markets. Louis has lived or worked in, at last count, 54 countries. He has lived in London and Aberdeen and spent significant time setting up operations in Hamburg and Sydney. He is approaching 3 million airline miles on American Airlines, another 2 million on the rest of the airlines of the world, and only God knows how many hotel rooms he has graced in his career. “I know how to stay sane and entertained on an airplane!”
Coleman is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with an MBA and The University of Oklahoma with an undergraduate business degree. He was born and raised in Tulsa, graduating from Will Rogers High School and now lives in “urban Tulsa” with his wife. He has two grown daughters. He is involved with Tulsa Global Alliance and Emergency Infant Services.
“I love the experience of hosting Business World. It keeps me on my toes and keeps me up-to-date with what is going on in the world of business. Most importantly, it is just plain fun. We have a great time and I hope that comes across on the radio. Talking business stories with Bill and Art is like sitting at the coffee shop and discussing the world’s business problems. Once in awhile we even agree on something. But either way, we always laugh.”
Louis has never received a broadcasting award. Doesn’t believe he has ever been considered and isn’t expecting one. But if that changes he will let everyone know.
